Suzhou Yingtan Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (Yingtan Digital), a national high-tech enterprise incubated by the SITI institute for smart construction, was invited to the summit. Yingtan Digital provided the BIM-based whole-life-cycle solution for the summit’s demonstration project—the Qinglü Yong’ancheng large-scale commercial complex EPC project.


II. Yingtan Digital: BIM Empowering Qinglü Yong’ancheng
2-1.jpgIn the afternoon, delegates visited the 101,900 m² Qinglü Yong’ancheng complex, targeted for Jiangsu Provincial Standardized Site, Smart Site, 3-Star Green Construction, Yangtze Cup and National Quality Awards. Located in the ecologically sensitive Tianmu Lake area, the EPC project adopts an investment-design-build-operate model and embeds smart & green concepts throughout. A BIM+IoT digital-twin platform governs the entire life-cycle.

BIM: Quality Uplift Across the Board
BIM runs through design, construction and O&M, enabling full-process digital upgrade.
  • Multi-disciplinary (architectural, structural, MEP, façade, interior) deep collaboration cut design errors by 20 % and raised coordination efficiency by 30 %.
  • “One-MEP-model-to-end” increased routing efficiency 40 % and clash-detection time 50 %.
  • Clear-height analysis and clash checks pre-empt issues; BIM+AR achieves millimetre-level accuracy.
  • UAV oblique photogrammetry shortened surveying & modelling from 15 days to 2.
    Overall: design efficiency +50 %, material waste –30 %, construction duration –15 %, O&M cost –25 %. BIM evolves from visual design to executable, quantifiable and traceable digital paradigm.
BIM+AR on Site – Seamless Virtual-Reality Construction
Addressing pain-points “drawings vs. site mismatch, empirical positioning, hard traceability”, the BIM+AR system overlays the BIM model 1:1 onto the real scene for high-precision MEP alignment and opening location. Workers compared AR against physical structure, accurately checking 132 complex MEP nodes. 3D tagging and data traceability allow the team to view equipment specs and work instructions in real time, lifting communication efficiency by 70 %. A “model-process-acceptance” data loop makes hidden works fully traceable, turning BIM from “screen model” into “site ruler” and propelling smart construction from digital to intelligent.

Combined UAV + VR technology also created an online 720° cloud tour of the project, enabling remote visits to zones featuring lean, smart, low-carbon and robotics applications.
